testosterone on mental development. I agree that socialization can
play a part, but Bouchard's studies of twins adopted out at birth to
different families shows a very powerful effect, especially when
monozygotic. (longitudinal study done at the U of MN)

Its easy, at adulthood, with the MMPI and intelligence tests to see
who the identical twins are in the sample.
The effect of socialization seems to wear off over time, and by 30,
they are who their genes said they'd be.

Socialization plays a bigger part than people want to admit. Men, who are
looking for excuses (whom have made negative choices to be brutal) for their
behavior. It's natural. No, it isn't natural for men to be brutal. It's a
complete HUMAN decision to be brutal. There is nothing to suggest that men
who have higher levels of normal (natural) testoserone are any more violent
than others. PEOPLE use whatever advantage they have to get their way. Men
can (and some have always chosen to) use their natural greater physical
strength in order to try and get their way. It's as simple as that. Such
is the beginning of wars. Women can (and some have always chosen to) use
what is their greater strength and that is their typical better verbal
skills to win argument. Thus you have women complaining about brutal men
and men complaining about manipualtive women.

If you could find a link, I'd appreciate it. Bouchard's work was done
with identical twins who were adopted out at birth to different
families. That is not a very large set. Who else has matched that
criteria? He also followed them for over 20 years, bringing the
parents and kids in to the U of MN for interviews and personality
assessments. IIRC, over time, he removes from his study those who
suffered traumatic events. The rigor of his work is really quite
robust.

Let me add further, that Bouchard's results are entirely consistent
with what people in my neck of Ozark woods have known all along.
Nobody cared what hillbillys thot, they are 99% white, so nobody
indoctrinated them about racial equality. Its not an issue.

But in an area that has always had large farm families, the elders
have always known which clans produced the drunks, and now meth heads,
and which family lines produced honorable responsible men who took
care of their families. I was born on a farm in Minnesota; my
grandfather had 9. Many of my aunts and uncles had from 6 on up to 15
kids. And we saw this going on all over the whole damn county. They
are too polite to challenge politically correct thinking about equal
opportunity and the benefits of social endowment, but *everyone* knew
that good kids came from good families.

If we can breed vicious dogs, why cant the warrior class that has been
running the planet for millennia breed vicious men?

Lastly. Both CNN & 60 minutes have had spreads on professional career
women who realized that all the men of their station were already
married to sexy bimbos. They have gone to fertility clinics, and
selected among thousands of Y chromosome lines, looking for, among
other things, men with evidence of altruism, since they want kids who
will grow up to take good care of their moms.

The sample size is not large, just a few are now in college, and a few
dozen in the early grades. But the results seem to be everything the
mothers could hope for- kids who are brilliant in school, sociable and
charismatic, and healthy. This is Plato's republic in the works Jude.
The global job market will pay these kids really well, and they will
advance up the corporate ladder rapidly, especially with their moms
part of the power elite.

Oh certainly, lotsa room. Since geneticists are not up on programming,
the idea that what they are looking at are checksums has not occurred
to them. If you look at the PGP code for instance, it looks like junk.
But it only makes sense when matched up with another sequence.
